Crackle Flower

I’m determined to use up some of the (many) patterned papers I’ve hoarded for a very long time, and the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches seemed like the ideal way to do that. If I’m not too late this will be my second entry for the current challenge over at CASology where the cue card is “birthday”.

I’m not sure who the papers are by, but I added a subtle touch of bling to some of the stripes & diamonds with my Wink of Stella. The greeting is by Paula Pascual & it’s stamped in Lulu Lavender. I’m also not sure who made the chipboard flower, but I added a little bit of texture to it by painting it with Distress Crackle Paint and added a jewelled brad by My Mind’s Eye.

  1. This is a very sweet and pretty CAS birthday card! Love how you have emphasised your crackle flower with just a hint of gorgeous patterned paper! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week.
